Buster had ACL surgery yesterday. He had a partial tear that we had been keeping an eye on. He would limp a bit when he got out of bed then kind of walk it off. The past few days he was really hobbling but not carrying his leg. We took him to the vet yesterday and the partial had turned into a full tear so he had the op in the afternoon. We picked him up today and apart from sleeping a lot so far he seems to have got through this very well. We have to keep him calm and quiet, ice packs, drugs etc. He is putting weight on it so that is good.

Best Wishes for recovery Buster!!

Great to hear it all went well, now the tricky part of keeping a bully calm. :D

Good to hear everything went well and that Buster is already putting weight on the leg. Wishing him a speedy recovery!

Glad to hear that he's home and doing well...

Happy to hear he is home and doing well... they sure do rebound quickly , praying for a speedy and safe recovery.

Big hugs to you all

Glad to hear everything went well and he is at home recovering now. Hoping the recovery process isn't too long and Buster is back to being himself.

Good that he's got the worst of it behind him and working on recovery. Remember, no stairs or jumping or climbing on furniture or standing on 2 legs...you know...all those things that many Bulldogs love to do. GL!

Sorry that you had surgery, Buster! You will feel much better when you heal up! Take advantage because you will get spoiled even more than before:Dfeel better soon!

1Chumly, how is Buster doing?

Thank you. He is doing great. Walking very well and only hobbles a bit when he first gets out of his bed. The only problem is he is desperate to get on my knee and it is a constant battle stopping him. Me getting on the floor with him just isn't the same it seems. He's not spoilt!

They are stubborn little buggers don’t know what they want and they want it when they want it. He’ll be back up on your lap on the sofa taking over in no time
