Bentley--2021 Has Not Been A Good Year

Sorry for being MIA. We have been going through a lot physically and mentally.

Bentley as you know from an earlier post has round cell lymphoma. The weekend after the aforementioned post, Bentley developed more nodules all over his body. We took him to the vet and bluntly stated, "he has cancer." He was placed on prednisone and all the lumps (nodules) decreased in size to non-palpable after three days. However, this is only a bandaid. Bentley has 1-2 months according to the vet or sooner if his quality of life deteriorates. Right now he still has his happy smile going and loves to play ball until he gets winded. He will take a rest and we start all over again.

Jewel is doing well and has resumed neighborhood watch in the afternoon/evenings.

Our house is still under repair and we are are still in the apartment.

We thank you all for the prayers, hugs, and well-wishes sent via the forum.

Lastly, I have not been able to log into taptalk and do not know what secret handshake i need to do in order to use the program on my phone not to mention what password and username i used to access the program.

@rjisaterp So sorry to hear MORE bad news. Always seems that when someone is down-you get kicked More! So sorry about your beloved Bentley. Wish there was something I could do, but I CAN pray for you all and I will be doing that! Best you can do is continue to make Bentley happy and comfortable, as I know you will. GOD bless you and give you strength.
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” [ESV, Philippians 4:13] This was my go to, when my husband passed away unexpectedly and other things just piled up. So sad for you. Hang in there! *If HE leads you to it, HE will get you through it.

My heart hurts to read this about Bentley, sending lots of hugs & prayers. Enjoy the time that you have w/him, and know you guys have given him a wonderful home and with Jewel too.

I’m so sorry to read this terrible news. I’m very sorry that it just seems to keep getting worse for you guys before better.

Bentley is one sweet loved boy and I am so sure he knows it. Like everyone said, there is nothing we can really say or do to help although we wish there were. We can offer our support for you to talk to and send our prayers and healing thoughts. For all of you [emoji3590] definitely have that from us.
