Well! what a terrible morning. Some of you have probably seen my posts about our Dudleys CCL operation and his current recovery which happened to be exactly 6 weeks through his 12 week rest period yesterday at which point we allowed ourselves to feel like it was down hill towards the finish line.
Nope! Last night for the first time ever Dudley tried to go for his bedtime pee and was squatting for ages but just couldn't go, we put it down to probably the new type of worming tablet we had given him earlier effected him somehow. Fast forward to 4 am and he's crying to go out, same again but tried even longer. I stopped up with him because i was worried and he did it again only this time he laid flat outside and would not move an inch, not even for his favourite treats, it was really weird like he was frozen stiff.
Straight round to the vets, X-Rays and a bowel flush to ease his pain and by 9.30am he was in surgery again to have kidney stones removed! We have obviously been worried stiff again until we received the call from the vets saying everything went very well and they are keeping him in overnight for observation.
So now we have double recuperation from two ops! poor little man just want him home now.
