Well... I actually have some good news. I guess sometime between the time I left to take Harlea to the puppy spa and when I got back to the hospital my wife was able to get up on a walker and hop over to the bathroom and back to her chair. Considering that only 12 hours earlier she could barley move it was a wonderful surprise not only to me but her doctors as well so they let he come home with me abiut 2 hiurs ago. Harlea was very happy to see her mommy we just have to be careful to not let her jump on my wife's leg. I feel so much better knowing that she is going to be home for the holidays and not in some rehab center.

That's a lot of progress right there Todd. Your poor wife has a long road to recovery ahead of her. That break was a bad one.When does she go back to the ortho doc?
Todd, I can't even imagine breaking my let in two spots and at the knee to boot. Did she hit hard or hit the ground just right (or wrong)?
