What on earth is an aussie bulldog?

In my search for breeders and puppies I came across aussie bulldogs. what in the heck? Is this what Moe is? I didn't think so but I know he came from Australia. Is this an actual real thing?

@dozersmama There are many types of "bulldogs"....Olde English, Aussie, Victorian, Etc. They are registered differently and by different organizations. AKC only resisters the EBs (I believe) I can give you reputable EB breeder referrals also.

The Lilac bulldog is a color, such as the blacks and blues. However as far as I know the AKC does not recognize those colors as of yet, so unless you want a family pet, I would look into it. To me for a family pet, the colors are not worth the extra money.

Well here is a local listing for an Aussie bulldog in New Zealand - seems some variant of the EB from Australia. Haven't heard much about them.
