Veterinarian Recommendations

I would like to recommend our wonderful vet. She specializes in bulldogs. She also has 3 bulldogs she has rescued. So sweet and attentive. Always calls to find out status of our babies when they've been sick :)

Agree! I was just writing her name on here! Dr. DeBiasio is a wonderful bulldog vet! New Jersey EB parents need to know about her!

I take Tallulah to:

Dr. Jeanine Barile
Lien Animal Clinic
3710 SW Alaska Street
Seattle, WA 98126
206-932-1133

"Doctor B" has a Frenchie and an EB of her own and specializes in brachycephalic breeds (though she sees others, too). She really knows all about Tallulah's allergy issues and is full of good advice for all kinds of care and grooming. She really gets it since she has her two at home. Doctor B also did Tallulah's palette surgery this fall; she's done a lot of these, so it's pretty routine for the clinic.

Tallulah loves going there--even when I had to bring her back the day after her surgery for some anti-nausea meds, she just trotted in happy to see everyone. They are always very attentive and concerned. They called every day after her surgery until her nausea problem was stabilized.

They have long hours and are open until 7:30 p.m. most days and until 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays -- that's pretty hard to beat.

I've heard some local conversations that Lien is more expensive than some other neighborhood vets, but they probably are on par with other clinics that have brachycephalic specialists. I did google around for rough estimates on palette surgery and Tallulah's was less than I expected (about $650). When they prescribed some eye drops that come from a compounding pharmacy, they referred me to somewhere in Arizona that is much less expensive than places around here. So they do try to be aware of expenses.

Most of the other recommended vets in the Seattle area are over on the Eastside, so I'm really happy to have found someone so close!

I want to recommend Dr. Katy Drain (and all the staff) at may Veterinary in Tuscaloosa, AL. Dr. Drain has owned bulldogs and my George runs through the doors with excitement when he has to go. Not only do they take great care health wise, but when he must be boarded this is the only place I will ever, ever take George. Love there staff and they have always taken great care of us!

Is this the one, May Veterinary Clinic | Tuscaloosa Veterinary Clinic | Northport Veterinarians ? If yes, is there a certain location you want me to list ?

2BullyMama yes that's them! Their Greensboro location!!

Dr. Crystal Meyers, DVM Banfield Pet Hospital of Ellicott City, 4735 Dorsey Hall Dr., Ellicott City, MD 21042 410.730.3095. Dr. Meyers takes her time with both the patient and their humans. She listens to my wife who keeps a journal of Jewel and Bentley's health issues. Dr. Meyers has an excellent bedside manner in my book. bullmama

Thanks

This is a super Great posting! I am however, still searching for a good Bullie vet closer to me here in Altoona, FL 32702.
I could not find where to reply to the posting, so am hoping this will be acceptable; the Highland Pet Hospital is no longer run/operated by Dr. Beverly Brimacomb; she has passed on from cancer and I am not sure about the veterinarian who's taken over the practice.
Just thought you may want to make the proper adjustments to this post.
Regards,
Rosemary
