I saw an old thread entitled then and now by I think Bully Mama 2 .
It reminded me of English bulldogs in time gone by. Dogs that are long extinct.
Our bulldogs are beautiful I wonāt deny that, but look at the comparison back in the 1700ās just before they rebred them for awful and mostly cruel purposes , mostly bull baiting until after that was banned and were discovered to be great cattle and swine herders then after a working day would come home and make great family pets.
What the breeders back then either didnāt consider or care about was all the health issues and shorter life spans they have created.
Chances are you all know this but thought maybe some donāt, and reminders of past mistakes is never a bad thing.
