Veterinarian Recommendations

Hey all, when issues arise, we take Brie to the North Georgia Veterinarian Specialist in Buford, Ga. They are fantastic w bully issues (and any other animal or breed). They are cordial, helpful, follow up and really seem to care. They now have a dermatologist as well.

Dr. Burke is excellent and very knowledgeable with Bulldogs. He has his own English Bulldog, and has had French Bulldogs.
He is also very good with all large and small animals.

I know of people who drive several hours to bring their Bullies to him. He also does AI and delivery of pups.

Loki sees Dr, Ann Spanish at Shakopee Veterinary Clinic in Shakopee, Minnesota #952-445-4765. She is really great she listens to everything question and concern and Loki just loves her! Even though there are vets closer to where we live me make the hour plus drive to keep seeing her. She is amazing!

Anybody know of any good bulldog vets in the Vancouver BC, Canada area? Or around neighbouring suburbs? Really desperate to find a vet who actually knows something about bulldogs!

I never had a pet, since I moved to the States, my husband and I decided to add a new member in our family, Angus. At the same time, we found a very good vet in Kansas, Dr. Prichard, who teach me how to raise an English Bulldog and we really needed this.

Unfortunately, this May, Angus was killed by the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita, when he was only 2yr2m. He had thorn in his paw, supposed to be a minor treatment but they did a surgery on him, basically tried to get more money. The entry fee was $90 plus $600 to kill my dog. They hired inexperience vet who knew nothing about English Bulldog.
Don't ever go there!

After we lost Angus, we bought another puppy, Dugall and also adopted his mom, Orrla. The Bleeder recommended Dr. Adam Free in OK. He's amazing. 2 weeks after we adopted Orrla, same thing happened on Saturday night, she was limping, we were panic and immediately called Dr. Free, he took us in early Sunday morning, just a squeeze, cleaning, and medication, no more limping.

Recommendation of a great bulldog vet, Dr. Michael Marks. He had bulldogs himself, and loves my Gunner. He treat's a lot of bulldogs. Also, at that same practice is Joanie DeHaven, DVM. Who is VERY knowledgeable with bulldogs. She worked with one of the well known bulldog vets in Florida for several years.

I wish I were closer! Staten Island is about 75 miles away but I appreciate the info!.

We adore our vet, because he adores bulldogs and has been excellent at handling all of Seven's needs. He came recommended by a friend who has bulldogs. One of the best things about Dr. Reed is that you can text him with questions and he responds quickly. I always feel that Seven is in good hands.

You guys are talking about Dr. Kinnear who's no longer at Richmond Valley Animal Hospital. He retired a few years ago.

I took Blue there because I also heard they're the bulldog specialists and saw Dr. Chris Powell (pretty sure that's his name). He knows bullies well, and he's very cool but I don't believe Blue would
receive better care there than from our own Vet so there's no reason to go back. Too long a drive for me (i'm in the city).
