I love this thread. I'm senile, so I won't wait until Thursday (who knows if I'll make it that long?). The first picture was taken in 1957 in an old wicker chair that used to poke and scratch me--funny how I remember. The second picture was in 1962, when I was about 8. The third was obviously before I knew the dangers of skin cancer. I was 18. The 4th picture was taken of my husband and I shortly after we were married in 1976, with our dog Rufus. And the last one, in the heavy make-up, was taken in 1986, when I was singing in a barbershop quartet.

I still had one of those chairs until a few years ago. I will have another one soon. Nothing like a double wide papasan chair to curl up and take a nap in.
