Geographically we all call a fizzy beverage something different. So what do you call a carbonated can of salt, sugar and calories?

Growing up we always called everything a "coke" in generic terms

Example: Diet Pepsi (which is what both Lari and I drink) is soda :D

I think you will find that Diet Pepsi (yuk!! by the way)is actually POP.
Soda is Soda its just the fizz

oh and Coca Cola full sugar!! for the win :p

We lived in California for quite sometime, and we always called it Soda. Then we moved to Minnesota for a time, where it was called pop. I got made fun of for calling it soda! LOL

Nowadays we call it soda. Heck we just call it by it's name- Coke, Sprite, ect usually.

No... toothpaste is toothpaste, I've actually never tried Colgate, and the washroom/toilet is called "bathroom". It's funny how all this is family and regionally biased.

In Ohio it was POP. here in Wisconsin it's Soda.

I get Razzed constantly for my Ohio Speak. Not just by Bruce!

I call it soda but everyone in my family calls ALL carbonated beverages "coke". How about a shopping cart? Cart or Buggy?
