This or That: Pen vs Pencil

What is your writing utensil of choice? A nice rolling ball pen in a color of your choice or a Dixon Ticonderoga #2 soft 1388?

I love pencils, but I can never find them! So I'm stuck with pens... and I like the gel pens best. If I can find a really good, thick mechanical pencil I'd be in heaven.

Pen if it is a good one. Nothing worse than a horrible pen and the only pencils I like are mechanical.

I have both at work. Always grab the pen first even if I'm doing something I suddenly decide would be better erasable. So pen it is. I've also got some green ink just to change it up a bit when working aging reports.
