Just got out of the clinic and radar managed to break the 3rd screw in his leg so they are going back in today to fix it. Nervous that he is having surgery again. What are evryone thoughts on the acepromazine (sp) after surgery to keep him out of it

Poor Radar,:pray:praying for him-and you! Stress on both of you. I have used liquid Ace for a dog who was too nervous in the car,it worked very well. I have also used it for horses, over the years. Sending best wishes for you and Radar.

Sending prayers all goes will --- I am not familiar with that drug but I think agingermom used it for Bertha

oh wow..I'm sorry he has to go through this again. Hopefully they can get it all done once and for all. Prayers for him and you, hang in there it will all be ok.

Sorry about the second surgery, hope it goes well.

Praying everything goes smoothly for his surgery today. Poor Radar, he needs to catch a break already. I pray this is it! Keep us posted on his progress!

Oh my, so very sorry and sending hugs of compassion that you have to go
thru the stress & expense of this 2nd surgery ;(

Please don't blame yourself or Radar, things happen and go wrong, no fault!

Praying over Radar, his Vet & you today, let us know when it's over.

Bertha was prescribed that after her knee surgery to ensure she was sedated to decrease mobility. I HATED it and only gave it to her once maybe twice. She was over sedated and it scared me. Bertha was not overly active and recovered great without it.

Just heard from doc things went good and he got him all fixed up. I am not sure how I feel about the acepromazine but will have to do something to keep him down

I'm glad it went smoothly... praying for an even smoother recovery.
