STORM--Monson, MA (Western, MA near Long Meadow, E. Springfield)
No kids, well behaved dog maybe okay .Needs strong, confident pack leader. Storm came from a home with 5 kids, very chaotic. He was overstimulated easily with all the chaos there. He needed quite an attitude adjustment when he arrived. His owner abandoned him at a kennel and doesn't want him back. He is now boarding at the same kennel and a dedicated trainer has been working with him. He has responded wonderfully with structure, discipline and direction from someone who doesn't let him get away w/anything, and reinforces good behavior. He has been introduced to other dogs and has done well. His trainer contacted us to help place him and said he is a dog worth saving and deserves a chance. She is raving about how well he has been doing and the transformation he has made with hard work on both their parts. We want a home without children so he will be the focus of his new owner with continued reinforcementhe will be a great companion for someone willing to give him a chance.
