Procedure went well. Going to the appointment,the "Rollinator" (wheeled walker) and I sat down for a breather about every 75 yards.

The docs took out the previous stint and added 3 more to the pancreatic ducts. They took a biopsy of the pancreas. Glad to say no more pain for now and walking much better without having to take a breath. That is the longest I walked since before March 6th.

I am on a no/low-fat diet and have dropped around 75 lbs. Since the first of the year (holiday food and goodies).

Reevaluation in 6 months

Update 8/11/2024...The biopsy results are in and cytology says I have psuedocysts and no malignancy. Still trucking along I am.

Cooper is great wants us to play ball all the time.

Well at least not a real cyst that can be cancerous, phew……

So for it not to rupture, are they going to put a catheter?

Whew… so happy it’s not cancer ! Good thing Cooper is keeping you occupied and busy. Hugs to you all

I have 3 stints in the pancreatic ducts to hopefully get rid of the cysts. I will have a cat-scan before my reevaluation and go from there (i.e. to remove or not to remove the stents)

Thank you for hugs and prayers. I am doing quite well. I am working on my strengthening and conditioning due to me being restricted to a bed in the hospital off and on from March 6 to July 4th. The nursing staff classified me as a fall risk, keeping me inactive leading to muscle atrophy. Doing better now.

Physical Therapy should really be called "Pain and Torture."

Thank you for hugs and prayers. I am doing quite well. I am working on my strengthening and conditioning due to me being restricted to a bed in the hospital off and on from March 6 to July 4th. The nursing staff classified me as a fall risk, keeping me inactive leading to muscle atrophy. Doing better now.

oh goodness It's so hard to not have our mobility and then when it was sort of *put on you* in a sense, that's extra hard to accept. I truly will pray as sometimes that's the cure all when everything else takes its toll. All the best.... and prayers ((((((rj)))))
