Replacement for a neck cone for EB

Hi, we have a 5 year old bulldog with an ulcer in his eye. The vet said to get a cone to protect his eye while he heals. Only problem is his neck is wider than his head and he wiggles out of all types of cone immediately. Any suggestions on what to do for our poor guy?

I would suggest the blowup kind but if his neck is bigger than his jaw? … have you tried putting a harness on him and attaching the cone to it with some straps?

A neck pillow might be more comfortable.

That looks like a great product. Donuts or blow-ups are usually no good for eye problems as they can still rub their face on furniture or the carpet. Buster, with all his ongoing eye problems, wore a cone for weeks on end. It was not pleasant for him or me (many bruises on my legs!). I would certainly try something like this.
