Summer is upon us. It's almost 90 degrees where I live today and while i LOVE IT and would prefer to do without air conditioning, the bullies, do not love it. I turned on the air for them this morning when i left for work. I know this is something we all know here, but just a little reminder :)

 always a great reminder --- Bully breeds are very sensitive to the heat and can be impacted very quickly

Great reminder, thank you! Time for the electric bill to skyrocket

We all can always use a reminder. Thank you. It's supposed to get into the 100's by the middle of next week. pdolphin27...save your pennies!

Thank you. We have many new members here that might also find this helpful. Overheating happens quickly, even at rest. Great reminder!

Yeah it's 92 here in NC today but can say I hate the high temps and high humidity so our AC has been on low for the past few days now.

As newbies to short nosed breeds, its difficult to really grasp how
easily & quickly this happens and all the time, every summer. In
bulldogs, many have windpipes no bigger in width than a drinking
straw, further causing quick & fatal overheating.

If its 70* and humid w/ no shade then do not risk your bully's life.
Short potty breaks only and AC, not just fans.

Thank you, Jennie! GOD bless you <3

Thanks for this reminder Jennie… it can happen so damn fast!!! We almost lost Bella years ago, we had gone to the park and then to PetSmart… she just got over excited… Thankfully she was okay, but it was a serious wake-up call.

Thank you for posting this!

We're only getting 10 to 14 degrees :(. Not warm yet, and just had over a week of rain. But definitely a great reminder.

10 degrees Celsius is equivalent to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
