Puppy Weight at 15 weeks

Hi all,

Brand new to the forums and to owning an english bulldog. I have two other dogs, a french bulldog and a french bulldog/beagle mix. Our new pup is St. Anky a 15 week old bulldog. He's adorable and i feel... he's huge.

We got him at 11 weeks and he weighed 24.5 lbs. 4 weeks later and he's a little over 30. The vet says he's not overweight but everything i've read indicates he's twice the size of the average bully.

I was just wondering if any one else has had a bulldog this big. I feel like he's going to be 90 lbs! Any clue on how big this "little" guy is going to be?

Hmm that is a big bully -lily was inly 9.9 lbs at 9 weeks
Every bulldog is different and there isnt any standard as to what they should weight at certain age (within a reason of course )

Rocco was 25 lbs at 15 weeks so you don't seem to be too far ahead. And Anky only gained five pounds in 4 weeks. Rocco was packing on weight much quicker than that. Seems like st anky just had a quick had start but is slowing down. But I'm really no expert lol. He's very good liking btw

He looks great, I just think he's gonna be a BIG baby!!! My Winston is almost a year old & he weighs in at a mere 60lbs Your baby has some long legs too… if your vet says NOT to worry, I wouldn't!!!

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes so you may just have a butterball on your hands. My Harlea is 7 months old today and she only weighs 34 lbs.

Thanks for the input, I will post an update soon, as he's going back to the vet for his final round of shots. I was guessing at his weight, he may be closer to 33-35 lbs, maybe more. He's bigger than my 3.5 year old Frenchie who's a FIT 30lbs (he's got "the biggest head I've ever seen on a frenchie", which is what everyone who meets him says ) Last time St.Anky was weighed was 3 weeks ago, he was 28lbs, he put on 3 lbs in a week.

I personally hope he gets really big, as I love big bulldogs. He's just such a handful already, I can't wait till he's got 40 more lbs on him

Just thought I'd post an update.. at 18 weeks he now weighs 39lbs.

My 5.5 month EB weighs 54 lbs. he has slowed down in weight gain but when he was younger he was gaining about 5lbs per week.

My old vet said at 16 weeks that it is half the dogs weight plus or minus 5lbs. Based on that my EB will be about 70 lbs

My boy weighed 25.7lbs at 16 weeks and now at 2 he weigh 54lbs, which he carries well, but doesn't need to be any heavier for his size/build. Sounds like your guys might end up being a little larger, say 60lbs at full size.

My 5.5 month EB weighs 54 lbs.

Crazy the differences in weight! Baxter was 17lbs at that age!

Pushing 7 months old now and he's 27lbs .... and has been at 27lbs without any change for several weeks.

He's now
