Hello everyone!

New to the forum and wish to learn a lot!

I've recently adopted Oscar, who is now 6 months old, and I have to say, he is the sweetest, laziest and funniest dog I've ever knew :D

He is really muscular - not really fat :D Vet says he's doing really well in the size/weight department.
(I'm not sure if I can post links but this is his grandfather, who is massive :D Ch, World Ch Britanic Major Sharpe Ocobo)

Just trying to find the right food now, as his stomach is a little sensitive :(

Ella is about 7 months and her brother weighed 42 pounds at 6 months as well and not fat at all.

What food are you currently feeding?

At the moment I'm trying a portuguese brand named Barkyn (the food is really good, they do the kibble from fresh ingredients from local farms) but unfortunately it isn't working. The protein is mainly salmon and his coat his really doing well, but he has bad tear stains (although not sure if the problem is food - he had a bad case of cherry eye when I adopted him, so bad he got dropping eyelids - vet does say that with growing up it will correct by itself, otherwise he will need surgery to correct - the cherry eye was corrected with surgery already) and the poops are always watery and really smelly.
I've tried Purina sensitive, royal canin bulldog, totw and Barkyn by now (maybe the problem is with the salmon) . Unfortunately most of the recommended brands here like Fromm are really difficult/impossible to get in Portugal, even via Amazon.
I'm trying Acana and wellness core puppy large next, and I'm looking into starting him into BARF, but I'm still collecting info!

Learning a lot right now!

Welcome to EBN.... what a handsome guy. Congratulations.

agree with Dollys owner... Farmina is a great kibble if you can get it
