One eye tears more than the other

My bulldog's right eye seems to tear more than the left. He frequently has this eye closed or more closed than the other. Mostly when he is tired. If he is fully awake he seems to keep them equally open. Most of the time his sclera doesn't seem redder or pinker than the other eye. Should I be concerned?

Not sure if this is still just possible allergies that we've been dealing with or if the anatomy of his eye just makes him more likely to tear. Hope it's not something more than that.

Lots of bulldogs are like this ,usually a genetic thing

I would have him checked for entropion in that eye.

Yes in my experience have him checked for entropian..we've been through 2 surgeries and a follicle cut out..

Ok I never did take him to the vet. It seems to have possibly been allergy related. I posted another thread about this and we have switched him from chicken to lamb and his face and eye seem much better!
