Marleys first swim

Marley swam across a river yesterday,his first swim. He normally only goes in water upto his belly ha.

OMG I would have been swimming right behind him. Marley is so cute.

He paddles in it on his own. But i walked over to the other side and shouted him. He enjoyed it though,it cooled him down too.

Awesome, looks like he enjoyed himself. I would just watch him though, as they can't swim very long, and most can't swim at all, unless they have a life jacket.

OMG! I thought he had a life jacket on-it's just a halter! If he loves the water that much, better get him one! But I am happy for him that he had a good time!!

That's so cool !!

I was at the park the other day here in Miami and two latin guys had their dogs (labs) running in and out of the water. I was standing there with Baxter on a leash because I was told he would sink like a rock. The latin guys were like "Why you not let him off leash??" I said "He will sink. Not swim". They said "He is dog! He will survive fine!"

Was I wrong? It was a regular beach. Seems to get deep pretty quickly.

That's so cool, looks like he really loves the water and had fun. Mine both hate water, so probably would never go near it. Lol

Its was the Lake District we went for the weekend. Marley loved it!
