Hello,
We have a nursing girl here, she had a c-section 14 days ago. I noticed that she has a bunch of little scabs on her front legs that go up under her chin on her neck as well. I feel some little bumps all over her back but I don't see scabs there. The scabs are on her front legs. They don't appear itchy or painful. Only things we can think of that have been different lately are:
1. Started her on more of the same food while nursing.
2. Changed laundry detergent for her blankets two weeks ago to Tide.
3. I rubbed (for the first time) Dermoscent Bio Balm for dogs on her front paws to relieve some dry paws...This is what I'm really looking at because it's more towards the front of her body.
Do you think that its one of these or related to the surgery or breastfeeding?
The vet office when I called, told me that it is probably just from dripped milk from the puppies....ummm no, it's not that.
