Introduction / vet recommendation

Hello all, new to the site. My name is Eric. Our bully's name is Stanford. He's almost 3. We just moved from New York City to northern Westchester county. The drive to Richmond Valley vet in Staten Island is not practical for easier visits (or emergency ones) - we were hoping someone might have another vet recommendation. I've scoured the internet to find someone, but there's no substitute for referrals, especially by passionate bully owners! Meet Stanford - he is half asleep and was too tired to fully stand up!

Thanks for sharing those links - I had viewed them first (to not waste anyone's time!) but there's nothing within 60-70 miles (which in the Northeast could be multiple hours). I would still travel that far for anything important and planned, but need something for the other occasions. Thanks!

A close friend lives in North Salem. Is that anywhere near you? She doesn't have a bulldog but she does have cats. I know, not the same..lol.. but she can still let
me know if her vet's any good or not.

We live about an hour from the bulldog specialist--more if the traffic is bad. We found a local vet for routine care, but leave the bulldog-specific problems for the specialist. Mabel sees him about once a year. I have to keep up with immunizations and make sure everyone is on the same page, but it seems to be working well.

Oh my gosh Stanford is just gloriously handsome. Please don't take this the wrong way when i say he reminds me of a seal! I adore seals so it's a pretty high compliment. :D
