Impatient after job interview

So I applied for a job three weeks ago. I applied on a Monday and they called me Friday for an interview. I had the interview the next weds (March 19th). They called me last
Tuesday (March 25th) to confirm my references and now I haven't heard anything. My references haven't heard from them either. Any thoughts?
