Hi everyone, just an update on our having to move out of our rental house. As I posted before, and some of you already know, we got notice in September from our landlord that he wanted the house back, as his daughter and her family is moving into the house at the end of December. We have been frantically trying to find another house or townhouse to rent that would also accept 2 Bulldogs, 1 cat, and 1 bird. I didn't even mention the cat or the bird, just the dogs, but nobody wants to rent to people with pets. I've been freaking out as it will never be an option for us to live somewhere where we can't have Dozer and Blossom, you might as well just rip my heart out. I started to lose hope that we would ever find a new place, plus the rents are so crazy high, everything in the $1900 to $2000 and up range. We figured we should just give up on renting, and just buy our babies a house of our own. We applied at our bank, and we just found out today that we were accepted for a mortgage. It has been a very stressful couple of months, worrying about whether we could find a home in the time frame. Now we can go and buy a home, but I only have 2 months left to find one, pack, and move. Hopefully we can get a 1 to 2 month closing date, but I'm definetely more optimistic, and excited to know what ever home we choose, we will be able to take our babies. Yeah.
Thanks everyone for your prayers and positive thoughts. We are going to view a house that we have already looked at, and make an offer tomorrow. I'm taking my mom with me, cause she's an Interior Decorator, and I just wanted her opinion. I'll try to post the listing on here. My realtor says the owners are pretty motivated to sell, and we could close at the end of November. It doesn't give us a lot of time, but we would be in the new house for Christmas, and it is the favourite of all of us, so hope we are successful in our bid. Wish us Luck. It's exciting, but I'm nervous at the same time.
