Nyala, (Jake, Duke)
I bought Nyala from a reputable breeder. Supposed to be a mini EB. Wanted a mini so I can bring her as a carry on when I fly. Pfffft there goes that idea!

I get a feeling she won't be that mini as she's already 35lbs and almost 6 months. I have absolutely no clue what weight she will be at the rate she's going now. :blush2: Yesterday I changed her to adult Orijen food and she will be cut down to 2 cups from 2 per day. She still has the V shape :whew: All my dogs were always bigger than normal. My German Shepherd was also big. 6 months 60lbs. He also got off Orijen puppy to adult asap and still ended up at 115lbs all muscles.

So.... if you recall how much did your baby weighed at 6 months? Or even today age?
Just curious what you EB weights cheers :)

At 6 months Harlea was around 26 lbs. Today she is at 38.5 lbs and she is almost 3.

Lambeau is 16 months and weights 51.9 (at vet just this week)... can't remember what he was at 6 mths, but I can check tonight.

Agatha Gump was 36 lbs @ 6 mos. She is now 3yrs & weighs 40 lbs.

Zoey is 5 yrs old and 41 lbs.
Pippy is 7 yrs old and 35 lbs.
Lala is 1. 4 months and 33 lbs.
IMO, a "Mini Bulldog" is a "made up" term by some breeder(s) simply to market something smallish and/or different...often asking premium prices for them. I do NOT consider any of my Bullies to be "Minis". They are just Bulldogs and they come in all sorts of sizes, weights, shapes, and personalities. All good!
All of my Bullies have been rescued later in life with the exception of Lala. She came in at 6 months and IIRC, she weighed about 23 lbs. I'm going to guess that your Nyala will top out in the mid 40s.

Castor was lbs 26 at 5 months and lbs 35 at 8 months. Will soon be 3 years old and is now appr lbs 42, so he is not big. Dogs differ - Castor's parents were much bigger (his dad something like 55 lbs and his mum perhaps lbs 50).

I am the opposite I didn't realize I was getting a smaller puppy as her parents were all standard size and she was not the runt but mine is a little peanut. She was 24lbs at 6 months and is 33-34 lbs at 10 months she is only 13 to 13.5 inches maybe as she never really lets me measure her and best guess maybe 14-15 long. Where ever we go I always hear she is the smallest EB they have ever seen and then they see Penny who is about 17-18 inches tall and 19 inches long and weighs 65 lbs and say and she's the tallest EB they have ever seen. They truly do come in many sizes. :)

Murray will be 1 on the 28th and he weighs 54 lbs, can't remember what he weighed at 6 months

Yes you're so right Oscarmayer on breeders will try shrinking them and ask big bucks. But I didn't pay big bucks. I don't believe in paying for any dog ridiculous amounts. One breeder in Canada has theses Shrinkable bullies from 6000 to 50, 000!!!! Nyala was 3 months old when I got her. Both parents are EB @ 40 lbs. Not spayed no paperwork and was getting to old to sell is why I got her for 1300 $ she wanted 1800 and I said no. Not for a dog without paperwork. If I wanted papers I would have to pay $3000 and more. Errrrr no. Nyala is not for breeding. She was bought for companionship and to enjoy having a dog. I really dont mine if she gets bigger. It is what it is. I love my chucky monkey. So if she does go to 50 lbs and healthy, cool!!
