Hi! I'm Heather from south Louisiana. I am a first time dog mama to Scarlett, born 1/2/16. She's currently 10 weeks old and we have had her for almost 3 weeks. Scarlett is not only our first bulldog, but also our first dog together. My husband and I have three human children, ages 11, 9, and 2.
Scarlett's mom was bred for her owners to have one of her puppies. Unfortunately, the puppies all developed an infection shortly after birth, and all of the 4 puppies healed with some scaring. Scarlett has some large scars on her front and back hips and also on one toe. We consider her scars lucky considering the other pups all lost ear flaps and one lost toes. I've stalked this forum for a long long time leading up to us finally choosing our puppy. I have some questions that I wasn't able to specifically answer by searching, so I figured it was time to join and introduce us.

Welcome!!! Lockjaw and Penny are also our first EBD's as well as first family dogs @ 10 months old now. With my girls being similar in age, 11 and almost 7.

This site has helped me soooo much along the way. And everyone is so friendly, non-judge mental and forthcoming with the best advice.

Now we must se pics of the new baby!!!
