This is a picture of Jack's left front paw pad. We think it might be hurting him when he walks. It's hard, dry, and split open. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!
Vaseline and a sock to soften it up, soak in warm water before. condition it, you may have to do this for his entire life, some bully's are just susceptible to this condition
I got some stuff here called "Bully Butter" LOL. Quite frankly, I only purchased because of the cute tin. Any of the aforementioned products would be far better. I think this stuff is just shay oil and I don't know what all. We used to use Bag Balm on EVERYTHING back in the day. I need to get some of that stuff again......
fortindycouple it's a moisturizing product originally intended for cow's udders, but works excellent on human and bully conditions as well
We put utter balm on Pan's paws at night and put on a sock to help keep the moisture in and to keep him from licking it off. If his paws are hurting a trip to the vet may be in order to quicken the healing. Ours gave us a steroid.
that looks like yeast to me and needs some anti fungal or yeast cream on it. tolnaftate works good or malaket wipes. anything over the counter will do. you may want to soak it in some yeast shampoo also. malaket makes one i soak sarahs feet in twice a week. fortindycouple
