I came across a post on this guy at a shelter friday. Of course I fell in love with the mush face immediately, but then was crushed to learn that his safe date was up and he could be euthanized without notice any time saturday or after. So me and Frank packed up at 6:30 saturday morning and made the 5 hour round trip to meet him and hopefully add him to the family. He was AWESOME, but too big with a high prey drive (was picked up after killing two cats and had chased numerous squirrels and a rabbit) which wouldn't be safe for our neighborhood. He was a big goof and even though I knew he wouldn't work for us in the first 10 minutes, we stayed with him for over and hour. It was hard. If we had a bigger place with a bigger yard I would've taken him in a minute. Even though he wasn't right for me, I paid his adoption fee and the shelter workers guaranteed him a spot on the floor until he's adopted. Happy life bud, you're safe. The search for Frank's brother continues.
*Update* It looks as though his profile has been removed from the shelter website/petfinder. I am guessing he has been adopted! with that face I knew he wouldn't last long.
