Hi! Well we finally got Barkleyās Entropion fixed in his right eye today! Everything went well but now Iām worried about the recovery part.
The vet said he shouldnāt need a cone, they donāt usually use them for bulldogs (they are bulldog specialist vets) but since we have been home he has tried scratching his eye a few times. I went out and got a soft cone but since I had to get the biggest size to fit his neck, it is wayyyy too long for his head and also he canāt fit in his crate with it on.
Iām also going to call the vet in the morning to see how I can tell if he messes up the stitches (I think he might have scratched his face/eye one time in the half second I turned my back!).
Has anyone used a good cone or something else that works better for bulldogs? Do those inflatable donut looking ones work well at all?
Thanks for any advice!! [emoji4]
