New intake, Emerald! BTB received an email from Broward Co ACC about a with a large tumor on her leg/foot who needed immediate rescue. So first thing this morning we picked her up. This shelter should get a gold medal for the special care they gave to our sweet Emerald. After her spay the shelter vet removed the tumor and a tech took her home to monitor her through out the night. Along with Emerald we were given the 2 1/2 lb tumor packed in ice to take to our vet, Dr Anna, to be sent out for pathology.
