Dry, cracked Nose

Maximus' nose is dry and cracked. The Vaseline does not appear to be doing a good long-term job of keeping his nose moist. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could use to help his nose ?

Even olive oil helps. When I put something on my dogs noses, the tongue keeps working for a 1/2 hour!!

I use Mushers secret .... Great for paws and works well on nose

I first use a warm wet wash cloth for my dirty cracked dry nose queen. I rub it on the nose so it removes any access hyper keratosis and then top with aquaphor or snout soother.

I'll gently wash Wilson's nose if starts to get too dry and flakes off. Vaseline works good for him so I put that on him right after I washed his nose while it's moist. I also keep putting it on at bedtime every night until it's healed and then I apply as needed.

Snout Soother and Musher's Secret work great too.
