Deep Infection part 2

Harlea had it and it was a nightmare. Took almost 7 months to finally clear up but 3 years later we are still dealing with the aftermath as her allergies became 100 times worse after that battle.

Oh no. Todd, I am so sorry to hear that. It is so frustrating. We have been battling tail problems in one way or another for as long as we have had him, which is what led to the surgery in the first place. All we can do at the moment is hope and pray this treatment works.

Positive thoughts coming your way!!!!! Monty's a trooper....he's got this!!!! :2thumbs:

Poor baby! I sure hope this treatment works. Sending positive thoughts your way for a quick recovery!

Here we go again :hissycry::hissycry::hissycry: I thought that area looked a little swollen this morning and sure enough, it has just started weeping again. I have got a call in to the vet now to see if this is to be expected or what.

Sending extra love & healing hugs knowing y'all are sick & tired of this crap!

Stepping up my prayers for vets to knock it out totally & Monty's full recovery.

Wishing I could give these hugs in person and help out while y'all rest, XOXO

Oh no.... I am praying its nothing serious! Let us know what she says! Poor guy.... I don't remember if you mentioned this in a prior post or not... but does it bother him? Like does he show he's in pain?

He seems just fine in himself I am pleased to say. I took him off the Tramadol. I am concerned as after two weeks of heavy duty antibiotics, there is still gunk in there but maybe that is normal, I don't know. We still have another couple of weeks to go on this regimin though so I guess we will see.
This is his new red wagon. He loved it the first couple of laps round the garden. We got him out and he got straight back in again. Now he barks his silly head off if it moves or he tries to eat it!

Oh boy, Monty is a beauty...so handsome. I certainly hope he can get this over and "behind" him soon.

OH my heart, I SO need to meet this boy. He is the CUTEST!!! I love his freckles, and his face. I even love that shaved booty. He looks so happy in that wagon!!!!! I've been wanting to get one for Tyson, but I don't know how he'd do with it. I think I will borrow my nieces wagon first and see if he'll even go in it.

I have to agree with everyone, Monty is so handsome!

Thanks for these great pics of him enjoying his red wagon
then having it for dinner, lol

It helps knowing he's not hurting, that was killing me to think it.

XOXO

Such a good looking boy! He really does look to be enjoying the wagon.

Since the bacteria showed sensitivity to Baytril and Bactrim the antibiotics should work. However if the area is walled off into an abscess then the antibiotics can't penetrate and you will need a drain put in. I'm just wondering if Monty needs an ultrasound or CT scan to check for abscess.
