He squats. Never once has he lifted his leg. Since the age of 16...I've owned 3 male dogs. None have ever lifted their legs. Does it have to do with neutering at 5 1/2 months?

Dudley does both too. It's funny, when he was young, he only squatted. When we started walking him with my bf's dog - a male golden retriever - he started to lift his leg.

Bennie does both, usually when he has to really pee he squats but if he's running around marking he lifts his leg

Bruty squats but I attributed that to the fact that he has two lab sisters.

Winston just lifted his leg the first time the other day… it was on a tree though!!! LOL

Dozey squats, he has never lifted his leg. He always poops first, and then he pees after, and his sister Blossom will always pees first, and it can take her 15 to 20 minutes to go poop. She has to do her sniffy thing and run in circles, android the perfect place to unload, but Dozer will do both duties within the first 5 minutes of being outside, and then wants to gomback inside, usually to sleep. Lol.

Squats. He only lifts to mark trees and light poles.
