Harvey will just look at me when I call him. Like you want me to do what? for free?

Now he comes running if he hears something dropping on his food bowl, like you need me, I'm coming!

Ha ha I see only one person voted no! Are you site you have a bully lol.

Tyson is the prime example of a stubborn, selective hearing bully. He will outright ignore you if its not something he's interested in. He'll even look you straight in the eye and ignore you! LOL... but mention the word "dinner", "treat", "walk", or "ride" and he's flying towards you. I swear the saying "he can't hear you call his name when he's right next to you, but can hear you open a wrapper from 3 rooms away during a thunderstorm" is so true!!!

SOUNDS LIKE 90% OF MEN!!!!!
Oh oh forgot ......meant in the human kind!!!!!

What?!!! You mean they CAN hear?:busted:

oh my Rocky hears me because if he has something he isn't suppose to have i say his name and he freezes then he looks at me from the corner of his eye as if to say the game is on.. then he runs like he wants me to chase him and stops to see if im going to come get him... i must say it is cute.. he is rotten.. he loves to play.. if he has something that i absolutely don't want him to have then the treats come out and he's forgetting all about what he had.. he's such a love bug..

Since I am answering for Lambutt --- I went with no, he is actually really good with listening --- just not that smart about it :D

Cheli is totally selective as was Banks.

All the time lol

Tyger being my first bully, I was concerned about his total lack of acknowledgment when I called him, and questioned if he did have a hearing impairment.
silly me, I now know he hears me very well, and like you others, the magic word is "cookie" .............gets his attention every time

Oh yeah!

I use the "nothing in life is free" approach with the boys.

Milo would do most anything to get food. Bentley, not so much.

At meal time, Milo immediately sits and waits for me to say, "okay" to begin eating.

I tell Bentley to sit and he just looks away. Milo is quivering with excitement as he waits.

I can just see the wheels turning in Bentley's brain. He's thinking, "What's the point in sitting? She's just gonna say it's okay to eat and then I gotta get back up."

He eventually "hears" me and complies as Milo's nub frantically wags!

As soon as I release them, Milo is already chomping before Bentley can get back up.

I love these funny boys!
