Has your vet checked for canine megaesophegus?
I'm not sure, but I don't think that could be the problem because he's able to swallow and keep food down for up to seven hours without throwing up, so it seems like it's making it well past the esophegus.
He's been able to keep his breakfast down for 9 hours now, so I'm cautiously optimistic that he's feeling better!

Unfortunately, Bailey didn't make it through the night without getting sick. We fed him boiled hamburger and rice, and he threw up 7 hours later. The vet said that this may happen while the medicine kicks in, so we fed him breakfast and are waiting to see how he does. So far, it's been 4 hours and he hasn't gotten sick. The vet said if he does get sick to bring him in for another x-ray, but at what point should I worry about radiation?
Fingers crossed and prayers said that he keeps his breakfast down. He gets so scared and confused when he gets sick. It's heartbreaking.
