Help Needed! Bloody discharge after spay

[MENTION=2014]JeannieCO[/MENTION] just keep a careful watch on Emma. I don't want to scare you but this happened to one of our foster bullys who's down with her foster family in Columbus. The discharge changed more into clots so we had to have her rushed to the emergency vet. It was an infection of the vulva. So just watch and see what happens!!

Thank you Kim for that info. I'll keep a very close eye on the discharge. I have her in big girl panties now so I'll really be able to see what's going on.

That's what I'm thinking now too. Makes perfectly good sense. I'll still check with vet. You know the last few days she's been quite smitten/frisky with the boys and I took note of that on Friday. My little girl is a hound dog!

After Dolly's puppy's and then a spay, she had a brownish, blood tinged discharge, I had called my vet and they said it's normal after a heat and spay to have some brown discharge.

I did NOT call you Henry, my phone autocorrect did that for me. LOL!!!!!!! Hope Emma is doing better!!! Miila didnt spot either so no help at all.
