What are some of your favorite recipes for a bland diet? Please share.. My bully has food allergies and I am trying to find a good recipe to put him on until I can ween him back onto his reg diet. Thanks!!

Lucy is allergic to chicken and beef. I also avoid grains. With that being said, I have had success with creating a mixture of mashed sweet potato and brown rice when I need to give her a bland diet. I peel the sweet potato, dice it, boil it and mash it. She seems to like it.

I use 1 cup of rice and boiled hamburger meat, or rice and cottage cheese.

Egg and rice was suggested to me when I needed a bland diet for Chunk ... I don't remember the ratio (I know it wasn't more than 2 eggs - one in the AM and one in the PM but don't remember the rice portion). That way he was getting the needed protein but without chicken/beef because we thought he may be allergic.
