General Question Baths

Omg Rambo hates baths with a passion. I do not know why but he does. It is like trying to hold onto a greased pig. And he is very strong even at his age. Any advice to maybe help him not hate so much?

Treats treats treats and commanding "Stay" works for my ace..then again, he seems to like the water. When my kids bath, he sits next to the bathtub. Lol

That's a hard one, some of mine hate baths and so e will tolerate it. So just keep after him and give treats and praise.

Agree with others.... Treats treats and more treats. Also, have you tried just taking him in the shower with you? We do this with Banks and she can not get out because of the door :D

We are lucky in that Harlea loves water so baths aren't that bad but when she is done she is done and she has no problem hopping out and running down the hall even if she is still covered in suds.

Tucker hates getting wet, but will tolerate a bath. I recently got a sprayer from petsmart that hooks to my faucet this has made it easier. Without any standing water in the tub he doesn't seem to mind it as much. Of course this is all after I he runs and hides in crate when I tell him it's bath time.
