Any advice or thoughts to keep my mind from thinking the worst

Good News!! I just got off the phone with the surgeon and he can't believe how well Radar is walking. Took another set of x-rays this morning and he has broken 2 of the 6 screws but his knee is healing as it should and his hip is off, but he thinks that is more due to his minor hip dysplasia. So no surgery :D

Wonderful!!! So happy that Radar is doing better. I can imagine your stress, he will be just fine!! Can't wait until he's home & all healed up. Prayers for a smooth recovery here on out!

GREAT news --- thanks for the follow up!

Well Radar, I am glad you are on the mend. My Jewel had this surgery last year and it was the longest 12 weeks to keep her still...no jumping, no running, no climbing, no walking except to potty, and almost no breathing, etc. You are going to have to be calm and not do anything. Mommy and Daddy just need to feed you bon-bons to keep you still. Just watch TV and take it easy. After the 12 weeks, you should hopefully go back to full activities. Take care Radar.

Thank goodness, I am JOYOUS!

Rest Radar, mind your pawrents!!!
