Our boy just turned 6 on 1/30/19!

He had a very rough week leading up to his birthday though. He ate one of our toddler's small toys and got a blockage. However, eating the toy turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He had surgery to remove the toy, and while our vet was in there he found a tumor the size of an orange on his spleen. He said he was almost certain that it was a Hemangiosarcoma. The tumor and his spleen were removed during surgery. They opened up some of his other organs to make sure there were not any more tumors we were missing. He is one week post-op, and doing great! He celebrated his birthday feeling much better!!!

Not the best way to celebrate a birthday but heh, turned out to be the gift in “disguise” and now gone.
