Help Needed! Winston is seriously in the DOG HOUSE!!!

Ok well earlier in the week Winston was sound asleep so I made the poor decision of going to get my daughter from school w/him loose... he decided to eat my BLINDS!!! So I realized that he must be crated when I leave the house... well just now I was sitting here at the computer & heard an odd sound. Hmmm it was Winston EATING the molding around the WINDOW?!! Besides that stupid green apple that doesn't work, what the heck can I spray on my windows so he will not EAT THEM!!! I have a dang beaver for a BULLDOG!!!

Eek naughty Winston. From what I know they do this because of boredom or to self sooth. I found out the hard way because Fergus like to chew on the rounded corners of the wall and eat the texture/plaster. Luckily thats easy to fix and the bitter apple works for us so I spray the corners once a week. I have read you can use caynne pepper with water but I dont know about that it might be painful if they get a lick full. I am sure someone will have some good useful suggestions soon.

I cant help it but when u imagine the whole situation it is so funny :-)
If bitter apple dont work then hmm not sure what else will ,maybe leave him stuffed kong and few toys lying around the house to keep him busy xx

Tracey, I agree with you! The green apple spray does not work. Ulysses had chewed FI's PS3 controller. We then replaced it, sprayed it and guess what, he chewed the new one too!

I swear I think my dogs LOVE the taste of that apple spray!!!
