Duke first falls asleep on the sofa next to me.. then he decides it's time for bed he proceeds to go towards the back door , comes in and jerks his head to go upstairs ( yes no joke ) then he sleeps right in the middle of us.. SPOILED DOG I know.
When diesel is ready for bed he goes to the living room door, wines - Crys until I open the hall door ( which leads upstairs )
He runs up to my bedroom as fast as his wee legs will carry him 😊
Ace sleeps in his crate on my side of the bed. I get up real early so he usually just lay's there for a while after I open the crate door, I don't know how he is able to hold his bladder so well but he does and never seems on too big of a hurry to go outside that early in the morning. When he does come out I pet him and he collapses on the floor for his massage and then he stretches good and is ready to go
Dexter if he isn't too crazy and is behaving sleeps in "his" (spare bedroom) room with the bed all to himself or if he is crazy man Dexter he sleeps in his cage in living room and cries for anywhere from 1-3 hrs before he falls asleep!
I have a question. Ruthie sleeps with us but her snoring keeps my husband up and it's becoming a problem...for him. Her little snores put me right to sleep. How should I go about breaking her of this habit of sleeping with us? Just shove her in a room, block it off and listen to her whine? I have a crate but I hate crating her, when I can put up the gate and block her off across the hall from us. I feel bad if she starts whining...do I just ignore her?
Sometimes Charley sleeps on the couch, but usually he sleeps between hubby and me. We never did let our girl bullies on the bed, they always slept in the crate though neither liked that option. Charley isn't as alpha as the girls were. He also doesn't snore loudly and he is not gassy as they were.
