With the new EB owners I figured I'd bump my most recent search... Rufus is humping yay. So far we are correcting like bad behavior, but with biting/chewing and now humping hes being a handful

It takes you by surprise huh, lol. I nearly rolled over laughing when I saw Emma doing that to Jack my other dog. She was only 10 weeks give or take. She's 7.5 months now and still does it to him.

Humping is an Alpha thing. She is trying to get her place in the pack. As far as stopping it, it depends on if you want to show her you are alpha or not. It is a personal preference.

All of my girls have turned out to be worse humpers than my three boys!! The miniature schnauzers in paticular seem to enjoy a good hump-fest ... we do try and stop it!!
