My baby is good when she’s with her dad all day when I’m at work. But when I get home she’s so excited, and rambunctious. If it’s me and her, or him and her she is good. But once we are all together she is horrible. Weekends are stressful. We can’t seem to spend any time together. What can I do?

What do you mean, when you say she is horrible?
She’s super hyper, jumping up and trying to bite my husband if he walk across the room. But when I’m at work he can walk and she just lays down. When I’m home she is mean to him. I watch her on camera all day long and she’s a different dog when I’m home.

Cause you belong to her. Shes the Alpha. Your husband has to take control of her when you’re all together. One trick that always worked for me was simply grab the dogs collar, put them on the side, hold them down, with a raised voice, tell her ā€œNoā€ Hold her till the body gives up. You will feel it. Make sure YOUR body is a bit over them so they realize you’re in control not them. It will take a few times but it’s always my go to. Do it each time she gets in that mood swing.

Thank you

She’s a pretty girl!!! Agree, she owns you and you’re gonna need to let her know the behavior is unwanted. Also try a water spray bottle, spray her with a firm no when she is doing this and it may help her to stop

Absolutely! Remember the dog fits in with your lifestyle, and you control her, not the other way around. She is trying it on, no way should you put up with a dog trying to bite you, because if you don't get a handle on this one day she will bite. "YOU ARE THE BOSS"

Thanks. I will try everything. Last night my husband did what the other person said. She did stop. I told him we need to be consistent. Appreciate all the advice.

Decades ago I had Dobermans. One female was a real little B. And if there’s a breed you don’t want it to bite anyone are Dobermans and German Shepherds. I had a trainer friend who she trained in Germany for her full training courses. She’s the one that told me to grab the dog on the spot and put it on their side. It sounds rough but it doesn’t harm the dog whatsoever.
