Wart or hystiocytoma? Appeared after DHLPP Vaccine

I found this on Pam (2yo) a day after her DHLPP Vac. I'm not sure if it was there before. This picture is from 1/28 This one is from tonight:

Thoughts? I have an appt set up for this thursday for my little guy who just got eye surgery, gonna bring her in and get it checked out.

These usually appear overnight and no way of knowing the cause. It's freaky how fast they appear.

Certainly get it checked, they are usually harmless, take a couple months to go away, but from my experience the two we've had they didn't like them touched so they must be bothersome.

I did find that using an antibacterial sped healing.

That one is in a bad spot if it hurts... Any limping?

One of mine had one appear suddenly on her foreleg. I didn't do anything to it and it disappeared in a few days.It was a hystiocytoma.

Thanks for encouraging responses. She doesn't like me touching it, but she is getting around fine, no limping or bothering it.

Anything with antibacterial and anti fungal. My favorite is a paw soak in diluted betadyne solution. I fill up a mixing bowl halfway and have them lay on their side, bad paw up. Then I can place the paw in the solution and hold it there. Downside is if many soaks it can stain a bit, make sure you dilute it to a tea color. Your vet may even give you a bottle for free- mine does! All I have to do is ask for more.




You could also use chlorahexidine solution diluted. Just a capful in the water.
