Another allergy attack with my son today... went to the ER, doctor asked me about the dogs, and I said we still have them... and she looks at me and says - "Let me remind you one more time, your son is extreeeemmmely allergic to dogs..."...

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know. Sigh.

So, my son and I are watching We Bought a Zoo.

Do you have an allergist? I understand that in some cases they can build up the immunity to the reaction to the pets with sublingual immunotherapy.

My son when he was young was allergic to everything!! I had him tested and yes, dogs was one of them. He got allergy shot's for years! The good thing was our allergist told me I could not put him in a plastic bubble, so we kept our dogs. He did get hives/asthma and we gave him meds. Today he is an adult, (27) and has his own dogs.

I sure hope your son is feeling better! Have you considered allergy shot's?? They really did help my son.

Testing and shots can help with your son's allergies. You should have inhalers on hand plus and epi-pen just in case.
