i wasn't notified.......i just noticed that i could click on my name in the post and it was like a link taking me to my page

Hmmm you should get a notice in a grey box with red writing on the bottom left of your screen that says (1) new mention.... Well try again [MENTION=2572]glenna[/MENTION]

This does not work on mobile or tapatalk tho

Nope. Don't have to worry about the caps when you're tagging.
