Travel diary of Libra, Vegas and baby O

thank you so much for looking into that. I haven't responded to this post because looking at the photo just gives me the creeps. We found another one like it in our trailer also. But this one had white body and brown legs and no red. Someone made the smartass remark that one is female and one is male and they've fertilized a bunch of baby eggs in our trailer

Want to know what we found in our trailer on day 3? Can anyone help me identify it?

The markings on it were red and white.

That is a Candy-Stripe Spider... they are popular in Europe, but just introduced to the US... found in NW US. I have actually never seen one before.... nice find.

They actually introduced it to the US/Northwest?
What is wrong with these people?
In all seriousness, I take it you do not suffer from arachnophobia. If you want to see if I can send it to you. It doesn't look the same now.

I actually think it is pretty, but no, Hawaii is very paranoid about introducing new species, squished or not :)

Did you set the hitchhiking spders free? Just wondering...

H-E-double hockey sticks NO! It was squished. It's mate was squished and vacuumed up with the shop vac.
