Help Needed! Training from Pen to Crate Yes or No

I Have a 12 wk old girl Izzy..trying to introduce her to the crate..I have her in a pen and she is doing great going on the wee wee pads..But some people suggest crate..So I have the crate in pen with door open..Heard that is a good way to get them comfortable with it..and not locking them up right away..Am I wrong? Today was the first day and she went in an pees in there..She drinks a lot of water the breeder said bulldogs need to.. and pees a lot..stick with Pen and forget Crate? Any suggestions will help..Thanks

I never did the pen training, always used the crate with a tight potty schedule however, many here have done the pen /pads with great success --- my advice is do what you are comfortable with and stick to a schedule, it is all about schedule.
