We have a dishwasher and use it. However I really prefer to handwash. There is something soothing about the warm water and washing dishes (to me anyway) So I hand wash pots,pans and any other dish that is on the counter at the time. With two of use, the dishwasher is only run about every 3rd day.

Other----Both, with just the two of us I run the dishwasher about every 4 days, I hand wash all my pots and pans so it leaves me room to put more in the dishwasher.

ive done it both ways actually and i prefer the dishwasher. i do wash the pot n pans and big items but otherwise it goes in the dishwasher. i have other things to do as has been stated.

Well since my dishwasher is broken I've been handwashing. I don't mind it so much. It's a good time to daydream.

Dishwasher here. But ours is cheap, so I also pre-rinse. We have a double sink, so all rinsed dishes go on the right side. With just 2 of us, we run it every 3 to 4 days, but that's how long it takes for my hubby to empty it. Hopefully one day we will get a decent dishwasher and the need to pre-rinse will go away. But regardless, it still takes my husband a few days to empty the dishwasher.

Other-I wash pots, pans & fragile by hand and general stuff in dishwasher.

Also, dog bowls are great to be sanitized in dishwasher!

I don't really mind hand washing tho- now the bathrooms and vaccuming,
Hubby's job and he does a good job
